CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
THE SHIP'S BELL VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Assists in the operation of The Ship's Bell. Specifically is responsible in maintaining the volunteer schedule and helps with the recruitment of new volunteers. Also, they assist the chairperson in ensuring the store is staffed and ensures volunteers are kept informed of store events and procedures. Chairperson and Volunteer Coordinator train new volunteers in the operation of the store. Must interface with Naval War College staff, students and faculty.
THE SHIP'S BELL VOLUNTEERS
The main component of the position is interacting with Naval War College students, faculty and staff. Responsibilities of The Ship's Bell volunteers include; creating sales receipts, maintaing and stocking inventory. Volunteers do receive a 10% discount on purchased items during volunteered shifts.
FUNDRAISING CHAIRPERSON
The Fundraising Committee works, in conjunction with the Social Committee, to plan fundraising events throughout the year to supplement Club funds and/or support various charities. Examples of past events include bake sales, rug sales, yard sales and silent auctions.
